I've started a new piece, Agawa Bay in Superior Provincial Park on the eastern shore of Lake Superior . I've set one of my small paintings in front of this one as it gives a better idea of scale of this larger watercolour. The subject matter is of a magnificently brilliant blue sky summer day. The wind was a wisp in our wind blown hair and I had stood smiling back at a fair August sun's bright light. My eyes closed wanting only to feel its pleasurable warmth on my upturned face and to feel the world around me and the disquiet in my soul slip away.
